TOTAL VOTING RIGHTS AND SHARES IN ISSUE
Following today's share issue in connection with the acquisition of the
minority shareholdings in Mutual & Federal Insurance Company Limited, the
Company's issued ordinary share capital now comprises 5,666,171,722 ordinary
shares of 10p each including 239,434,888 shares held in treasury. Therefore,
in accordance with Rule 5.6.1R of the Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the
total number of voting rights for the purposes of calculating disclosable
interests in the Company's ordinary share capital is 5,426,736,834.
